Job summary

Flexential’s Data Center Technician III role supports 24x7x365 operations, delivering physical and technical support to customers and internal resources. You’ll troubleshoot facilities infrastructure, Windows systems, and monitoring tools while maintaining high availability and safety standards.

In this senior position, you’ll mentor DCT I/II, own provisioning and maintenance tasks, participate in hiring, and ensure accurate reporting and incident remediation across Power, UPS, cooling, and

Qualifications

• Experience in a 24/7 production environment is required.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficient understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of data center operations and networking basics.
• Familiarity with building management systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, PDUs).
• Excellent verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor DCT I/II team members on best practices, audits, and provisioning workflows.
• Provide guidance across operational tasks, documentation, and escalation paths.
• Own project-level responsibilities for provisioning and maintenance efforts.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding, evaluating candidates.
• Train peers on reporting, monitoring, and access control procedures.
• Take ownership of access control, badge issues, and security compliance.
• Lead site safety efforts and emergency readiness activities.
• Respond to alerts with clear communication and remediation options.
• Understand critical infrastructure and communicate impact and response.
