Job summary

T5 Data Centers in the United States is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Technician to oversee and optimize data center operations across critical and non-critical infrastructure. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and hands-on leadership within the Facilities team.

The Sr. CFT will train and develop junior technicians, manage CMMS for planned and unplanned work, and collaborate with the CFM/ACFM to maintain 100% uptime while minimizing risk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years in mission-critical environments preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure equipment and systems.
• Lead the CFT team to deliver total availability (100% uptime) while minimizing risks.
• Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions within the data halls.
• Provide training and expertise for using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage all planned and unplanned data center work.
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections on data center electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Plan, schedule, and execute electrical and mechanical corrective issues to ensure resolution with minimal risk.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues and escalations.
• Maintain CMMS documentation and schedules for accuracy.
