Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation is seeking a Project Manager for Data Center Facilities to lead complex client projects from planning through delivery in a full-time role in the United States. You will coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include defining objectives with clients, preparing detailed project plans, tracking costs, and reporting to upper management.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within a consulting engineering firm, with data center design project experience preferred.
• Skilled at translating client requirements into comprehensive fee proposals and project scopes.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering or Architectural) or equivalent professional experience; PMP certification preferred.
• 8+ years of project management experience
• Strong leadership capabilities, including coaching, supervision, staffing, and performance management.
• Expertise in project management best practices, including budget development and tracking, planning, process improvement, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Manage key client projects, coordinating internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress; prepare reports for upper management on project status.
• Lead project planning, define scope and technical requirements with clients and stakeholders; develop and maintain detailed plans and manage changes.
• Maintain strong client, stakeholder, and vendor relationships and conduct risk management to mitigate challenges.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and facilitate clear communication throughout the lifecycle.
