Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation seeks a Power Systems Project Manager focused on data center infrastructure. You will own planning, execution, and delivery for a portfolio spanning substation design to interconnection, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

You will interact with investors, developers, and agencies, guiding projects from feasibility through delivery, with a strong emphasis on client value and a path toward sustainable data center solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in power systems or electrical infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, or large-load engagements preferred.
• Familiarity with substation design, power generation, interconnection processes, and transmission planning fundamentals.
• ISO/RTO interconnection queue knowledge a plus (e.g., ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subconsultants on complex projects.
• PMP certification or active pursuit is a plus; PE license is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Own project plans, schedules, and budgets for data center power engagements and track milestones.
• Serve as primary client contact with developers, investors, and economic development agencies.
• Coordinate across substation design, protection and control, civil/structural, and interconnection disciplines.
• Manage subconsultants and contract administration.
• Support early-stage feasibility studies and master planning for pre-investment sites.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Lead proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations; contribute to business development.
• Ensure QA/QC and compliance with standards throughout project execution.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with interconnection engineering teams.
