Job summary

Metric DCX seeks a General Superintendent to oversee North America data center construction projects across multiple locations. You will lead field operations, coordinate site superintendents and subcontractors, and drive safety, quality, and schedule performance from pre-construction through handover.

The ideal candidate will manage large complex facilities, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure project momentum while maintaining world-class safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams on complex facilities
• Strong safety culture development and enforcement experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for large-scale Data Center construction projects.
• Manage and coordinate site superintendents, trade partners, and subcontractor activities.
• Drive a culture of safety excellence and ensure compliance with all site safety requirements.
• Oversee project schedules, sequencing, logistics planning, and resource allocation.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and ensure effective communication across project stakeholders.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure construction activities meet project specifications.
• Partner closely with project management teams to proactively identify and resolve project risks.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and client handover processes.
