Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field execution on large-scale hyperscale data center projects across the United States. The role oversees day-to-day field operations, manages field teams, and drives projects from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with significant hyperscale data center exposure and a proven track record of leading large field teams on major data center projects.

Qualifications

Experience leading field teams on large data center projects.
Deep knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, turnover and critical path scheduling.
Ability to manage safety, quality, logistics and manpower on multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Lead overall field operations on hyperscale data center construction projects.
Manage Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field teams.
Own site execution across safety, schedule, quality, logistics, manpower, and production.
Coordinate with Project Executives, PMs, MEP leadership, and client teams.
Drive accountability across subcontractors and trade partners.
Oversee MEP installation, commissioning, turnover, and phased delivery.
Lead short-term planning, site logistics, sequencing, and field coordination.
Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or production.
Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and operational execution.
