Job summary

Peter Kazella and Associates, Inc. seeks a Data Center Construction Project Manager to serve as Owner's Representative for critical facilities in Richardson, TX.

The role leads contractors and vendors, ensuring on-budget, on-time delivery while meeting company design standards and project objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive data center project management experience, budget oversight, and strong communication skills to liaise across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry.
• Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Familiar with building systems design for data centers and mission-critical projects.
• Strong client-facing / relationship management skills.
• Solid construction project management experience and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain liaison with contractors and vendors to manage day-to-day activities on critical facilities projects.
• Ensure day-to-day project responsibilities are met by contractors and vendors.
• Manage multiple projects; negotiate contracts; create and manage project schedules.
• Develop project plans including scope, costs, budgets, and timelines; manage change orders.
• Assist with reporting and RFPs to Contractors.
• Deliver Built-to-Suit projects with value-engineering emphasis.
