Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Data Center Construction Project Manager (Owner's Rep) in Richardson, TX. Lead critical facility construction projects, manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include planning, change orders, reporting, and liaising with multiple stakeholders. Requires extensive data center PM experience, strong admin skills, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Data Center ConstructionIndustry
• Experience managing Data Center projects as Owner or GC
• Experience managing a budget
• Familiar with building systems design for data centers
• Proven client-facing and relationship management skills
• Strong communication via email, phone and in person
• Ability to work independently and travel to project sites
• Active participation in professional orgs (AFCOM, ASHRAE, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Maintain liaison with contractors and vendors to manage day-to-day activities
• Ensure project responsibilities are met by contractors and vendors
• Manage multiple projects and negotiate contracts as needed
• Create project plans including costs, budgets, scheduling and change orders
• Assist with reporting and RFPs to Contractors
• Deliver Built-to-Suit projects with value engineering focus
• Enforce Company Standards for project delivery
• Manage financial aspects of contracts (billing, equipment, expenses)
• Represent the company in project meetings
• Coordinate with managers across departments
• Maintain logs tracking project progress
