Job summary

Circet USA seeks a Data Center Low Voltage Installation Technician to install, terminate, test, and label high-density cabling in data centers and ISP hubs. You will build pathways, racks, and fiber/copper plants, ensuring safety and adherence to design standards under tight schedules.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in the field, knowledge of ANSI/TIA standards, and relevant certifications. This role is on-site with Circet USA, offering growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial low voltage installation or structured cabling experience.
• Data center/ISP central office or commercial construction experience preferred.
• BICSI Installer 1 or Installer 2 (Copper/Fiber)
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification
• Lift Certification (Scissor/Boom)
• Understanding of ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 color codes and cabling topologies.
• Proficiency with punch-downs, wire stripping, RJ45 crimping, fiber testing tools.
• Able to pass a level 2 background check and work at customer premises.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure overhead and under-floor cable pathways.
• Assemble and anchor server racks and network enclosures; ensure seismic bracing as required.
• Terminate copper and fiber cables and dress cabling for clean network closets.
• Test and label cabling using Fluke DSX-8000, OTDR, and power meters; certify link performance.
