Job summary

Telvero is hiring an ISP / Data Center Low Voltage Installation Technician for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. You will be responsible for installation, termination, testing, labeling and organizing structured cabling in data center and ISP environments.

Key duties include installing cable pathways and racks, terminating copper and fiber, testing with Fluke DSX-8000 and OTDR, labeling ports, guiding rack-and-stack of switches, and maintaining accurate installation records while following

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial low-voltage installation or related field experience.
• Data center, ISP central office, or commercial construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 color codes.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and secure cable pathways and racks.
• Terminate copper and fiber cabling and test installations.
• Label cables and ports per standards.
• Maintain installation records and safety compliance.
• Assist with rack-and-stack of switches and hardware.
