Job summary

CBRE DirectLine, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, is seeking a Lead Cable Technician to oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling in data center environments. You will mentor a crew, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality work on time.

The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with stakeholders, and applying industry best practices across copper and fiber terminations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead a crew of 1–5 technicians.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand job floor plans and blueprints.
• Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools and safe work practices.
• Experience with copper and fiber cabling testing and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of data center cabling.
• Deliver safe, high‑quality solutions on time and within standards.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Read blueprints and build documentation; track timesheets.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and proper paperwork.
