Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Lead Cable Technician to supervise installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling in data centers. You will mentor a small crew and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

In this role, you will read blueprints, coordinate with stakeholders, and uphold industry best practices while driving operational excellence and quality workmanship across all cable and fiber termination tasks.

Qualifications

• Able to lead a crew of 1–5 technicians.
• Able to read job floor plans and blueprints.
• Experience with copper/fiber terminations and testing.
• Experience in Data Center environments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and decommission network and cabling in Data Center.
• Deliver sustainable, repeatable solutions with continuous improvement.
• Provide progress feedback to stakeholders.
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness and quality workmanship.
• Follow safety, production, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove obstacles.
• Read blueprints and documentation.
• Understand Data Center infra technologies.
