Job summary

CBRE | DIRECTLINE seeks an Advanced Senior Lead Technician to supervise and execute complex data center cabling projects. You will manage crews, ensure high-quality installation and decommissioning of network systems, and partner with stakeholders to remove obstacles while maintaining safety and standards.

Role requires deep fiber optics, copper splicing, and structured cabling expertise, plus the ability to develop material lists, BOMs, and reliable estimates to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple crews in a data center environment.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic installations, terminations, splicing and testing.
• Proficient in copper splicing and structured cabling systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and build documentation, and create BOMs.
• Proven ability to generate reliable estimates/quotes and manage SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation/decommissioning of network and cabling in data centers.
• Deliver sustainable, repeatable processes and drive improvements.
• Provide structured progress feedback to stakeholders.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and quality workmanship.
• Follow production, safety, quality standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Read blueprints and redline documents; understand data center infrastructure.
• Develop and implement install teams and coaching for leads.
