Job summary

CBRE DIRECTLINE is seeking a Lead Cable Technician to oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling in data center environments. You will mentor a team, ensure safety, and meet project milestones while collaborating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong technical cabling skills, experience leading crews, and a solid grasp of data center infrastructure and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of leading a crew of 1-5 technicians.
• Clear understanding of job safety requirements.
• Be able to read and understand job floor plan.
• Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cables.
• Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
• Delivers sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.
• Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.
• Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.
• Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Read and comprehend blueprints and building documentation/redline work.
