Job summary

Ruby Labs is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to drive analytics across subscription products and web funnels. You will own analysis from problem framing to recommendation, partnering with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to improve conversion, retention, and LTV while ensuring trusted tracking and reliable data models.

You will mentor analysts, design robust SQL data models, build dashboards, and deliver decision-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience in subscription business and web funnels.
• Strong Product Analytics skills: funnels, cohorts, retention, LTV, churn, segmentation.
• Hands-on experience designing, running, and validating end-to-end A/B tests.

Responsibilities

• Define KPIs, success metrics, and decision criteria with Product, Marketing, and Data teams.
• Create dashboards and improve reporting for product and marketing performance.
• Deliver full-funnel analysis, identify bottlenecks, propose improvements or A/B ideas.
• Lead user behavior analysis (journeys, drop-offs, activation moments).
• Monitor metrics, escalate issues, and communicate updates with SLAs.
• Own event taxonomy and tracking structure; validate implementation and logic.
• Design robust, reusable SQL data models and optimized queries.
• Mentor Junior/Middle Analysts in SQL, funnel analysis, and experimentation quality.
