Job summary

Ruby Labs Ltd. is hiring a Lead Data Analyst to drive analytics across subscription products and web funnels, partnering with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to improve conversion, retention, and LTV while ensuring trusted tracking and robust reporting.

The role is hands-on and cross-functional: you will own analysis from framing to recommendations, mentor analysts, and collaborate with Data Engineering/BI to maintain a reliable data foundation.

Qualifications

• Degree in an analytical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience in subscription business and web funnels.
• Strong product analytics: funnels, cohorts, retention, LTV, churn.
• Proven hands-on end-to-end A/B testing experience.
• Hands-on event analytics tools experience (Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude).
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Strong analytical mindset and clear business communication.
• Adaptable, fast learner, and able to perform in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Data to define KPIs and decision criteria.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting with clear data narratives.
• Deliver full-funnel analysis, identify bottlenecks, propose improvements or experiments.
• Lead user behavior analysis using event data.
• Monitor metrics with SLAs and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Own event taxonomy and tracking, validate data alignment with business logic.
• Design robust, reusable SQL data models with efficient queries.
• Mentor Junior/Middle Analysts in SQL, funnel analysis, and experimentation quality.
• Provide regular feedback and collaborate with Leadership on data strategy.
