Job summary

Point is transforming how we use data, with a lead data analyst guiding the definition of core metrics and driving rigorous analyses. You’ll work closely with leaders across product, marketing, and operations to set the bar for high-quality insights and trusted recommendations.

You’ll be the senior analyst on the team, owning key metrics and partnering to help the business make data-informed decisions while shaping a self-serve analytics culture with AI-assisted approaches.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics, data science, or quantitative decision science with impact
• Deep SQL expertise and data warehouse fluency (Snowflake and dbt a plus)
• Strong statistical foundation including causal inference and experimentation
• Proven ability to frame ambiguous problems and present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Track record of influencing decisions without formal authority

Responsibilities

• Own the definition and integrity of core business metrics
• Lead end-to-end deep-dive analyses on high-stakes questions
• Design and interpret experiments and causal analyses
• Serve as an embedded analytical partner to senior leaders
• Translate business logic into documented metric definitions and semantic layer
• Set the analytical standard and mentor teammates
