Achieve is a leading digital personal finance company seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to influence business decisions through rigorous data analysis and predictive modeling. You will work with senior management to present actionable insights and drive improvements in loan performance using SQL, Python, and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, quantitative business analysis, and/or statistical analysis.
• MBA or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Scientific field, Finance, or Accounting.
• Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently under direction of manager.
• Experience leveraging PowerPoint to outline analytic results and proposals.
• Understanding of regression analysis and decision trees to prove merits of improvements.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Basic/Intermediate SQL skills.
• Basic Python skills.
• Understanding of decision trees, segmentation, regression and other intelligent models.
• Math coursework: Calculus 1, Statistics 1.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business improvements with real time loan portfolio analysis.
• Detect quality breakdowns in credit/underwriting systems to reduce risks.
• Drive credit performance by identifying low risk segments for more loans.
• Use multivariate models for diagnostics to answer key questions.
• Analyze sales and digital funnels to uncover originations opportunities.
• Prepare PowerPoint summaries for VP-level executives and present findings.
• Measure cost/benefit of proposed improvements.
• Combine financial modeling, SQL, Python, AI tools, and hypothesis testing for insights.
• Design portfolio monitoring processes to manage credit risk.
