Job summary

Speak is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to act as the strategic analytics partner across product, growth, marketing, finance and leadership. You will shape decisions by turning data into trusted insights and providing an opinionated POV that informs where to invest and how our consumer and enterprise businesses fit together.

You will drive high-impact analyses, own core metrics, and champion AI-assisted analytics, shaping planning and KPI definitions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in analytics, strategy, or business/finance analytics.
• Advanced SQL and familiarity with dbt or semantic layers.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/LLM tools to analytical tasks such as data synthesis and hypothesis generation.
• Strong business and financial acumen—comfortable owning LTV, CAC, payback, NRR, and revenue recognition.
• Ability to frame ambiguous questions, form a point of view, and communicate it persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bias for turning insight into decisions and ownership to follow through on impact.

Responsibilities

• Frame ambiguous business questions with leaders and bring rigorous, opinionated analysis to decisions that matter.
• Act as the bridge between Finance and Marketing: connect budget pacing, spend efficiency, and channel outputs to revenue forecasts.
• Own the high-leverage questions like unit economics, growth drivers, the B2CB2B picture, and turn them into actionable recommendations.
• Drive board- and business-review level analysis and tell a clear, trustworthy story.
• Own core metric definitions as a single source of truth and drive org-wide adoption.
• Partner with Finance on metrics behind planning—LTV, CAC, payback, and NRR, including segmented LTV across consumer and enterprise.
• Champion self-serve and AI-assisted analytics so the organization can answer routine questions.
