Job summary

Travix is seeking a seasoned Business Data Analyst to join its centralized data team. Your work will identify and execute data projects that unlock new data assets and insights for Travix, serving as the single source of truth for decision-making across business units.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, including data engineers in Shanghai, and you will be the in-house expert on best practices for using data and AI/LLMs in analytics, building KPI dashboards and complex SQL queries that

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Business, Econometrics, or related field or equivalent practical experience
• More than 5 years experience as Data or BI Analyst
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Expertise in visualization technologies using modern BI tools
• Advanced ability to leverage LLMs for SQL generation, Python scripting, and data summarization
• Solid foundation in data modeling concepts
• Experience identifying and pitching analytical tools including AI/LLMs

Responsibilities

• Understand major challenges and opportunities with stakeholders and brainstorm analytics solutions
• Identify data blind spots and define a data strategy with data engineering collaboration (Shanghai)
• Lead complex analytical projects and set up in-house data modeling tools using SQL and Python
• Create complex SQL queries to transform data into optimized datasets
• Build KPI-driven dashboards and analytical tools to enable data-driven decisions
• Communicate insights clearly with strategic and tactical recommendations to stakeholders
• Be the primary point of contact for analytical/data questions from business teams
