Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a Cytogenetics Supervisor for day shift at Weill Cornell Medical Center on Manhattan's Upper East Side. You will oversee the Cytogenetics laboratory, managing administrative, personnel and technical duties and act as a liaison between staff and physicians.

Lead a team of Cytogenetics Technologists, drive quality improvements, and ensure timely, accurate results while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance within a world-renowned academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Cytogenetics experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• New York State license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• 4 years of experience or 2 years of experience with a Master’s degree per NYS supervisory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cytogenetics laboratory including administrative, personnel and technical duties.
• Lead a team of Cytogenetics Technologists and serve as a resource to laboratory leadership.
• Act as front line liaison between laboratory staff and physicians.
• Drive on-site quality initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
