Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, seeks a Supervisor for the Cytogenetics laboratory. This day shift role leads Cytogenetics Technologists, oversees administrative, personnel and technical duties, and acts as the front line liaison between staff and physicians. Candidates should have Cytogenetics experience, a bachelor's degree in clinical lab sciences, NYS licensure, and 3–5 years supervisory experience; master's preferred. On-site work is required with some on-call duties.

This is a day shift position, Monday - Friday with some on-call responsibility, located at our NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center campus on Manhattan's upper east side.

Preferred Criteria

• 3-5 years supervisory experience
• Master's degree preferred
• ASCP certification

Required Criteria

• Cytogenetics Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or other related field
• New York State license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• 4 years of experience or 2 years of experience with a Master's degree per NYS supervisory requirements

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range: $140,000-$174,000/Annual
