Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer (CSSE) for the Sentinel program. This senior role leads cyber systems engineering teams and ensures cyber survivability in complex airborne and ground systems.

You will implement weapon-system requirements, collaborate with engineering leadership, and guide cybersecurity assessments, reviews and documentation to meet DoD and AFI standards. On-site work with DoD‑level stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret w/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access.
• IASAE II (CISSP) certification and potential IASAE III within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber systems engineering teams in SOW execution and flight test planning.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to meet mission objectives.
• Oversee Sentinel system development and cybersecuritycontent reviews.
• Ensure CNSSI 1253, DoD 8140/8570, DoD 8510 compliance.
• Develop and document cybersecurity processes and assessment methods.
