Role Overview

As a Principal Cyber Security Architect, you will join our growing Product Security team, providing expertise in managing the security of a portfolio of products throughout their lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of Cyber Security, you will drive cyber risk discovery and mitigation across a broad range of core products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage security projects across product lifecycles.
2. Influence decision-makers to improve secure development practices, security requirements, and design.
3. Provide security roadmaps and assessment reports to leadership.
4. Define and improve Honeywell's Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), automating processes to match development speed.
5. Lead incident response investigations and coordinate remediation efforts.
6. Mentor and coach engineering and security architects in secure SDLC practices, fostering security advocacy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in the security field.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience architecting enterprise-class, high-performance software products.
• Experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Certifications such as CSSLP or CCSP demonstrating practical security knowledge.
• Ability to communicate security risks and strategies effectively to development teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills for facilitating diverse groups and negotiating priorities.
• Passion for results and continuous self-improvement.
• Understanding of industrial control systems (SCADA).
