Job summary

Pep Boys in Georgia is seeking a Customer Service Lead to drive outstanding customer experiences and lead daily service center operations. The CSL acts as the primary on-site leader, performs advanced Customer Service Advisor duties, and holds key holder responsibilities for opening/closing the store.

The role emphasizes mentoring team members, ensuring safety and compliance, and partnering with technicians to deliver efficient service and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five (3-5) years of service industry experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive service, maintenance and parts.
• Strong understanding of service center operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Customer Service Advisor duties at an advanced level and model exceptional customer experiences.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on products, services, systems, and shop procedures.
• Act as a key holder for opening and closing the service center as scheduled.
• Lead on duty when the Service Center Manager is not present and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Mentor, train, and onboard Customer Service Advisors to boost performance.
• Assist with interviewing and evaluating candidates and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with technicians and management to improve service operations and sales.
• Promote safety, compliance, and a team-oriented work environment.
