Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee custodial operations in a secure facility in Virginia. The role combines hands‑on cleaning with team leadership to ensure cleanliness, safety, and security in support of mission readiness.

Required are a high school diploma and at least 4 years of custodial/maintenance experience, plus the ability to lead staff and follow security protocols. Active Top Secret SCI W/ CI Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of custodial or facilities maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise custodial staff.
• Knowledge of custodial equipment, cleaning agents, and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial services including cleaning, sanitizing, waste disposal, and special project support as needed.
• Assign work, monitor performance, and provide on‑the‑job guidance to custodial staff.
• Ensure custodial tasks are completed in compliance with security protocols, safety standards, and facility requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and readiness of assigned spaces.
• Maintain custodial schedules and respond to priority or unscheduled service requests.
