Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a Utility Custodian to perform daily custodial services in secure facilities across Virginia and Maryland, supporting Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions.

You will follow strict access controls, handle waste disposal, operate custodial equipment, and respond to requests while maintaining professionalism and discretion in confidential spaces under Top Secret SCI with CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in the industry is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily custodial services including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining offices, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas within a secure facility.
• Handle waste disposal, recycling, and shredding in accordance with IC security and information protection procedures.
• Safely operate custodial equipment and use approved cleaning agents in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled cleaning requests, including spill response and special event support.
• Maintain custodial supply inventory and report shortages or equipment issues.
• Follow strict access control, badge, escort, and compartmentalization requirements at all times.
• Immediately report security concerns, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency procedures and continuity-of-operations activities as directed.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion when working around sensitive personnel, materials, and spaces.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
