Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Custodian Lead for the day shift in Minnesota. This full-time, year-long role supports the Building Supervisor by directing custodians and maintaining the school building.

A Minnesota 2nd Class Boiler License and related pneumatic/heating controls experience are required, along with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift, with a pay rate of $21.80 to $23.00 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Minnesota 2nd Class Boiler License.
• Training or experience in pneumatic controls and heating applications, electrical and mechanical fields.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.
• Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Building Supervisor in directing work of custodians.
• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of the school building.
• Other duties as assigned.
