Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Custodian Lead for day shift to support the Building Supervisor in directing custodial staff and maintaining a clean, safe school environment in Minnesota.

The role requires a High School diploma, Minnesota 2nd Class Boiler License, and ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Training in pneumatic controls and heating, plus electrical/mechanical familiarity, are valued. Mon-Fri schedule with 8-hour shifts and benefits provided.

Custodian Lead - Day

Full-Time 12 months/8 hrs/day
Monday thru Friday - First shift

Duties:

The duties of this position are to assist the Building Supervisor in directing work of custodians; assist with housekeeping and maintenance of the school building; other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Must have State of Minnesota 2nd Class Boiler License. Training or experience in pneumatic controls and heating applications, electrical and mechanical fields. Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

Rate of Pay:

$21.80/hour to $23.00/hour based on step and license/position, plus benefits.
