Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine CT scans, prepare and present images and results to Radiologists for timely interpretation. The role supports the hospital’s mission and delivers high-quality patient care in a collaborative radiology team.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT or NMTCB CNMT certification, CPR, and CT experience or cross-training. Work hours include Monday-Thursday 9:30am-8:00pm with holiday requirements, and the department emphasizes

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB registration required.
• CNMT certification within one year of hire.
• Six months CT experience or completion of MWH cross-training program.
• American Heart Association CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams by confirming orders and patient identity.
• Perform CT exams across all ages and maintain competency.
• Maintain safety and radiation protection standards for patients and staff.
• Supervise students and CT cross-training initiatives.
• Document patient data and procedures to support billing and records.
• Participate in PDCA-based performance improvement for the CT section.
