Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Lead CT Technologist for a full-time role in Center City, Philadelphia. This position involves performing CT examinations, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards, and mentoring staff CT Technologists.

The ideal candidate will have a specialized diploma, BLS Certification, and CT certification from ARRT. The role includes administrative duties, maintaining equipment, and delivering patient care throughout imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ARRT program or current validated Registry in Radiology Technology.
• Valid IV Certification and BLS from the American Heart Association.
• CT certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computerized Tomographic examinations under a radiologist's supervision.
• Ensures quality imaging and prepares pertinent patient information.
• Maintains and operates CT scanning equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring for CT Technical staff.
• Assists with administrative and scheduling tasks within the department.
