Responsibilities

• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
• Performs clinical diagnostic examinations, including any necessary room preparation.
• Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
• Operates CT equipment under the direction of a radiologist to produce CT images for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintains required certifications in line with the department’s training program requirements; failure to meet these requirements may result in termination.
