Jefferson Health Plans seeks a Lead CT Technologist to perform CT examinations under radiologist supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate patient information for review by physicians and care teams.

The role includes administrative and leadership duties such as training, scheduling, quality assurance, and mentoring CT Technologists, with possible supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor.

Qualifications

• Specialized diploma graduate of an approved ARRT program or current validated ARRT registry in Radiology Technology.
• Knowledge of RIS systems and PACS systems.
• IV certification.
• BLS - Basic Life Support per AHA.
• CT - Computed Tomography certification per ARRT.

Responsabilités

• Interacts with co-workers and patients, upholding Jefferson Health values.
• Operates CT scanners to produce radiographs per procedures; ensures image quality for diagnosis.
• Ensures proper patient positioning and preparation during scanning; adjusts positioning and dosages as needed.
• Implements radiation safety guidelines and protects patients during imaging.
• Maintains and services CT equipment; coordinates with service personnel.
