Health Marketing in Ellenwood, GA is seeking an experienced CT Imaging Technologist to perform advanced CT procedures including TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung screenings with focus on image quality and patient safety.
The role requires ARRT Radiography and CT, a Radiologic Technology program, BLS, and at least 2 years CT experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential.
This position involves performing a wide range of advanced CT imaging procedures, including protocols like TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung screenings. The technologist ensures patient safety, prepares equipment, and maintains image quality while providing compassionate patient care and education.
Verify clinician orders, assess patient history, administer contrast safely, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Responsible for equipment setup, sterile techniques, and post-processing advanced protocols. Monitor and respond to patient needs, maintain patient privacy, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Manage departmental workflow, communicate performance concerns, support staff training, and participate in process improvements. Serve as a departmental liaison, assist with hiring, onboarding, and regulatory compliance.
Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, BLS certification, and minimum of 2 years clinical and 1 year CT experience. Must demonstrate excellent communication, independent functioning, teamwork, and proficiency in advanced CT protocols. Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety is essential.
Maintain equipment, ensure quality control, support departmental operations, and mentor colleagues. Participate in continuous education and uphold regulatory standards to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient imaging services.
