Job summary

Quantinuum in Broomfield, CO seeks a Lead Systems Engineer - Cryogenics to deliver complex infrastructure across cryogenic, fluid-handling, and precision building environments. You will lead architecture, roadmaps, standards, and requirements, guiding integration across disciplines to production-ready solutions.

You will mentor engineers, drive safety, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle performance while shaping capital infrastructure initiatives for future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years delivering complex facility or infrastructure systems (cryogenics, fluids, or industrial gases).
• 5+ years in engineering design/analysis software (ASPEN, EcoSim, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Onshape).
• U.S. person required (citizen, permanent resident, or green card).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for advanced infrastructure programs (cryogenic distribution, gas systems, precision environmental controls, facility infrastructure).
• Define system architectures, roadmaps, standards, and long-term infrastructure strategies; lead requirements, design reviews, and acceptance activities.
• Serve as technical authority for integration, reliability, safety, and scalability of complex systems.
• Lead resolution of complex technical and operational challenges across projects and stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration among engineering, facility operations, safety, project teams, vendors, and partners to ensure execution.
• Lead commissioning, operational readiness, and lifecycle performance initiatives; guide transition of new technologies into production.
• Mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices and documentation standards; support capital initiatives.
