Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Lead CRNA to support clinical excellence and provide local leadership within our anesthesia team. This role blends hands-on care with leadership duties, partnering with physician and operational leaders to drive performance, engagement, and patient outcomes.

Lead responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring CRNAs and APPs, plus participating in performance reviews and team development to sustain high-quality, coordinated anesthesia care.

Qualifications

• CRNA with NBCRNA certification.
• Active RN/APRN licensure in state.
• DEA registration prior to hire.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by site/role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with physicians and leaders to optimize workflows and practice.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and mentorship of CRNAs and APPs.
• Participate in performance reviews and team development.
• Lead engagement initiatives and promote a positive team culture.
• Serve as a liaison between frontline clinicians and leadership.
