Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Lead CRNA to support clinical excellence and provide local leadership within our anesthesia team. This role combines hands-on clinical care with leadership responsibilities, partnering closely with physician and operational leaders to support team performance, engagement, and patient outcomes.

The rotating schedule offers 9-, 11-, or 13-hour shifts with dedicated leadership time, and requires NBCRNA-certified CRNAs with a Master’s in Nursing, state licensure, and DEA

Qualifications

• CRNA with NBCRNA certification and active RN/APRN licensure
• DEA registration prior to hire
• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• ACLS, PALS, NRP required by site/role prior to or within 6 months of hire
• Strong clinical, leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with physician and operational leaders to optimize workflows and clinical practice
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and mentorship of CRNAs and APPs
• Participate in performance reviews and team development
• Lead engagement initiatives and promote a positive team culture
• Serve as a key liaison between frontline clinicians and leadership
• Provide full-scope anesthesia care across patient populations
• Develop and manage patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and accurate documentation
• Support coordinated care and communication across care teams
