Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Lead Critical Facilities Engineer to guide a skilled team maintaining data center infrastructure. You will manage maintenance, repair, and upgrades for UPS, PDUs, generators, and building controls to ensure 100% uptime.

Ideal candidates have extensive hands-on experience in mission-critical facilities, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to coordinate across shifts and vendors while promoting safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience with maintenance and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to read commercial building blueprints and electrical single lines and schematics.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating and updating MOPs/SOPs/EOPs.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and handle on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work efforts to ensure seamless operations on shift and between shifts.
• Serve as primary escalation point for on-shift CFEs.
• Assign tasking to on-shift CFEs and drive high-level tasks to completion.
• Manage maintenance vendors and ensure safety and uptime targets are met.
