Job summary

Overman Concrete in Utah is seeking a skilled Crew Foreman to lead concrete projects such as sidewalks, driveways, and patios. You will manage the crew, ensure safety and quality, interpret plans, and coordinate with project managers and suppliers to keep work on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years in flatwork, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints. OSHA basics are preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in flatwork concrete construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and the ability to manage a diverse crew.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in coordinating with project managers and subcontractors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of flatwork concrete projects from start to finish, including site prep, forming, pouring, finishing, and cleanup.
• Lead and supervise a crew of laborers, finishers, and equipment operators to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of the work.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Conduct daily job site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Train and mentor crew members to develop their skills and knowledge in flatwork concrete construction.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage for each project.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
