Job summary

University of California - San Francisco is seeking a Supervisor for Centralized Processing to oversee credentialing and provider payer enrollment workflows in a high-volume setting. You will supervise 3–6 staff, ensure compliance with credentialing standards, and collaborate across departments to maintain data integrity and operational efficiency.

The role requires leadership skills, deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (TJC, NCQA, CMS, DHS, DMHC, ACGME), and the ability to drive process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or four years of relevant experience.
• Five years in a healthcare environment with emphasis in medical staff operations and/or provider enrollment for third party payors and health plans.
• Three or more years working as a lead/supervisor or manager role.
• Expert knowledge of TJC, NCQA, CMS, DHS, DMHC, ACGME and other applicable accreditation/regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 3-6 staff in credentialing and provider payer enrollment workflows.
• Develop and monitor credentialing function processes and monitor staff compliance.
• Audit files for completion, monitor results, and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
• Collaborate with leadership and IT to ensure compliance and data integrity for UCSF Medical Staff and related facilities.
• Lead team meetings, prepare agendas and materials for huddles and peer review activities.
• Provide training and orientations to sustain best practices.
