Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a supervisor for the Centralized Processing team in San Francisco to oversee credentialing and provider enrollment processes, supervising 3-6 staff and ensuring accuracy and compliance with NCQA, CMS, DMHC, and related standards.

You will partner with medical staff, hospital leadership, and IT to improve workflows, monitor performance, and maintain data quality across memberships for UCSF Medical Staff and related facilities, while aligning with bylaws and accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or four years of relevant experience.
• Five years in a healthcare environment with emphasis in medical staff operations.
• Three or more years working as a lead/supervisor or manager role.
• Expert knowledge of accreditation/regulatory requirements (TJC, NCQA, CMS, DHS, DMHC).
• Strong leadership, customer service, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 3–6 staff responsible for credentialing and provider enrollment.
• Audit files for completeness and monitor results.
• Collaborate with department leadership, medical staff, and IT to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to support efficient workflows.
• Lead team meetings and prepare agendas for huddles and peer review activities.
