The City of Auburn is seeking a Lead Court Clerk to join the Auburn Municipal Court. This role focuses on advanced court work, day-to-day direction, mentoring, workflow coordination, and ensuring adherence to court procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years of progressively responsible court-related clerical/administrative experience.
• Valid Washington driver’s license is required at time of appointment.
• Experience with Washington State court information systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of court clerk duties and provide coverage as needed.
• Review processes for accuracy and efficiency, guiding staff as appropriate.
• Serve as technical liaison with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and other courts.
• Assist management with staffing, assignments, and special projects.
