Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; or
• Completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; or
• Bachelor's degree with social welfare focus and related credits, plus experience
• Equivalent combination including 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology or related social sciences

Responsibilities

• Perform strength-oriented case assessments and review referrals
• Attend treatment courts, hearings and meetings as assigned
• Maintain case notes, records, and required forms in designated systems
• Perform quarterly visual home inspections to ensure safety standards
• Provide brief mental health assessments and crisis response to first responders
• Collaborate with agencies and providers to support continuity of care
