Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1 or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree with social welfare major or related coursework and experience
• Equivalent combination of experience and training including social sciences credits

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with consumers and families to assess services and document progress
• Guide professional staff or student interns when assigned
• Help consumers access economic, health, physical, or vocational resources
• Provide frequent outreach and treatment based on individual needs
• Deliver emergency and on-call support on a rotating schedule
• Collect personal and family details to identify concerns and connect consumers with services
