Job summary

Amity Foundation in California seeks a Supervising Counselor to support the Program Director and supervise AOD staff and OMCP mentors. This role helps manage CBI components and track participant progress, ensuring compliance and high-quality service.

The position emphasizes training, supervision, and collaboration with CDCR/partners to support internship hours, core functions practice, and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience as a certified AOD Counselor at Counselor III level.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD Counseling staff and mentors.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and training.
• Monitor contractor staff performance and address issues.
• Ensure progress toward AOD certification and valid hours.
• Oversee intake/orientation for new participants and action plans.
• Maintain ARMS documentation compliance and internship hours verification.
