Job summary

Meta seeks a driven commercial transactions lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can drive the execution of contracts to support the network infrastructure team in the U.S. You will handle commercial negotiations and regulatory issues related to the development and operation of communications infrastructure critical to Meta’s services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or technology transactions.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one state bar association.
• A law degree and practicing certificate (or equivalent) in a common law jurisdiction.
• Proven ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive impact.
• Strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills with sound business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements for network infrastructure expansion (joint build, fiber, IRU, colocation, cloud networking).
• Research and analyze state and federal rules and regulations affecting Meta’s projects.
• Drive commercial negotiations and regulatory issues to align with company policies and risk tolerance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Compliance and external counsel to meet cross-functional requirements.
• Provide practical business and legal advice and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
• Demonstrate ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
