Meta seeks an experienced technology transactions attorney to join its Technology Transactions and Global Procurement Legal team, supporting Meta Compute. You will structure, negotiate, and close high-value agreements for AI compute, networks, and storage that underpin global data center infrastructure.

You will work with Infrastructure, sourcing, engineering, procurement, accounting, and finance teams to deliver practical legal solutions while advancing responsible AI practices and staying

Qualifications

  • J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 8+ years of experience negotiating and drafting sophisticated technology procurement, services, and related agreements (e.g., semiconductor development, IP licensing, hardware and software development agreements, master purchase agreements, master service agreements, statements of work).
  • Experience advising cross-functional business teams on legal risk, contract strategy, and deal structuring for large-scale infrastructure or technology transactions.
  • Experience independently managing a high-volume portfolio of complex transactions with minimal supervision, delivering practical legal solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Proven organizational skills, experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines.
  • Ongoing AI skill development (prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies.
  • Knowledge of technical hardware development and manufacturing, including semiconductor design.
  • Experience adhering to responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews).
  • In-house experience providing counsel to technology companies in data center, cloud, semiconductor, hardware, networking, or foundry spaces.
  • Proven communication skills, ability to provide clear, concise guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.
  • Experience drafting custom agreements from scratch (not from templates).

  • Provide counsel aligned with business objectives across global initiatives in data center, cloud, hardware, and semiconductor spaces.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic legal partner for complex commercial agreements that underpin the development and deployment of Meta's global data center infrastructure at scale, including AI compute, networks, and storage. You will work closely with Infrastructure, sourcing, supply chain, engineering, procurement, accounting and finance teams to structure, negotiate, and close high-value, technically complex transactions that enable Meta's platforms to serve billions of people worldwide. This role offers the exciting opportunity to join a growing legal team and work on emerging issues in AI infrastructure.

  • J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
  • 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney negotiating and drafting sophisticated technology procurement, services, and related agreements (e.g., semiconductor development, IP licensing, hardware and software development agreements, master purchase agreements, master service agreements, statements of work) either in-house and/or at a global law firm
  • Experience advising cross-functional business teams on legal risk, contract strategy, and deal structuring for large-scale infrastructure or technology transactions
