Job summary

Meta's AI Partnerships Legal team seeks a Commercial Counsel to help bring our AI models to market across the ecosystem. You will structure and close complex deals, advise on data licensing, and support enterprise licensing and strategic partnerships.

This role requires strong experience in technology transactions, cloud or SaaS agreements, and a proven ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment. In-house or tech-company experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. (or equivalent) with active U.S. bar membership.
• 5+ years in technology transactions, licensing, or strategic partnerships.
• Experience negotiating complex cloud, SaaS, or platform agreements.
• Ability to manage priorities and close deals with minimal oversight.
• Strong risk judgment in unsettled or evolving legal areas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal partner for model distribution and ecosystem launches.
• Structure, negotiate, and close distribution agreements for broad model availability.
• Lead or support large-scale AI commercial transactions and licensing.
• Advise on data licensing for model training and product development.
• Provide commercial counsel to teams shipping AI-powered consumer experiences.
• Collaborate with BD, product, engineering, policy, and other teams.
