Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Lead Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on a major life sciences construction program. You will provide commercial leadership across the delivery of facilities, site infrastructure, and supporting systems.

The role requires 8+ years in cost management for complex construction, SME QS with RICS preferred, and strong client/stakeholder engagement while managing a team. This on-site position offers a path to technical leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in cost management within construction.
Experience supporting life sciences, pharmaceutical, laboratory, manufacturing or complex projects.
SME in Quantity Surveying with RICS or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a cost management team and provide commercial leadership across the project lifecycle.
Interface with client, stakeholders, and consultants at all stages.
Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management.
Report on overall commercial status and KPI/controls for the project.
Identify opportunities to improve cost management procedures and tools.
