Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Lead Food Service Supervisor to oversee a range of kitchen responsibilities and to instruct inmate labor in meal preparation within a correctional facility. You will report to a Food Service Director and operate on site inside a jail facility.

Essential duties include overseeing production, paperwork, sanitation, safety practices, and large-scale meal preparation. Hiring preference includes prior institutional food service or restaurant experience, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year or more of experience working in a food service role.
• We prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare, assist, or instruct inmate labor in the preparation of a variety of food items following departmental work production standards, standardized recipes, and Institution work instructions.
• Handle production paperwork and sanitation paperwork essential to comply with facility procedures.
• Ensure you complete the cleaning and maintenance of all food service equipment and work areas; follow proper safety and sanitation practices.
• Follow prescribed institution requirements in all preparation, oversight, and serving of correctional facility meals.
• Follow assigned institution housekeeping and safety practices as instructed.
• Stores food and supplies following instructions.
• Perform in high-volume food production facilities preparing food for large groups.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
